Just a little winter update. I have been busy during this quiet time of year. I started my early tomatoes and they are going strong.
I also have some onions and celery sprouting. My celery plants will be graduating to a bigger pots soon. First round of peppers will be getting started this week.
I have elderberry bare roots sitting in my window. So far they are looking good! I will post a whole thing on these guys once I have them in the ground. Looking forward to finally being part of the elderberry syrup club.
The last new additions I have are four starter blackberry bushes. I just transplanted two into a larger pot and the others will be done tonight.
Feeling good about this year’s garden. I’ll see how I feel in August!
What do you have planned for this year? Any new additions? I have one other new thing coming in April, but that’s a surprise! Hint: It’s not a plant 🪴
